The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board (UPMSP) has cautioned students and their parents about receiving phone calls from cyber fraudsters who are enticing them with promises of boosting their marks and ensuring their passage in the UP 10th and 12th board exams of 2024.

UPMSP has urged UP Board Class 10 and 12 candidates, as well as their guardians, to report any such phone calls to the district school inspector.

In an official statement, the board stated, “We want to alert the public that certain cyber criminals are attempting to deceive candidates and their parents by soliciting money, promising to enhance the marks and guaranteeing passage to students who have appeared in the 2024 High School and Intermediate examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh.”

In previous years, FIRs have been filed against cyber fraudsters involved in such fraudulent activities to warn the public about these incidents.

Therefore, UPMSP has appealed to all candidates and their parents not to entertain phone calls from cyber fraudsters and resist the temptation. If such calls are received, immediate notification should be made to the District School Inspector of the respective district.
