April 1, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) declared the Class 5 examination results. Dr. Satbir Bedi, the chairperson of PSEB, announced the Class 5 results through a press conference.
Students who appeared for the Class 5 exam can check their scores on the official website of PSEB – pseb.ac.in. Tomorrow, April 2, at 10 am, the direct link to check scores will be available on the official website.
As per media reports, this year’s pass percentage stands at 99.84 percent, with a total of 3,06,438 students appearing for the Punjab Board 5th exam. Pathankot district recorded the highest pass percentage with 99.96 percent, while Mohali had the lowest pass percentage with 99.65 percent, as reported by Hindustan Times.
To check the PSEB 5th result 2024, follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of PSEB at pseb.ac.in.
- Look for and click on the Punjab PSEB Class 5 Result 2024 link on the homepage.
- Enter the required details on the portal and click submit.
- The PSEB Class 5th Result 2024 will appear on the screen.
- Verify the result and download the page.
- Keep a printout of the Class 5 result for future reference.
The Punjab Board Class 5 exams were conducted from March 7 to 14. Exams were held every day in a single shift from 10 am to 1:15 pm.
The Punjab Class 5 result will include details such as the candidate’s full name, roll number, parents’ names, school name, registration number, total score, subject-wise marks, result status, and any remarks. There will be no provision for re-evaluation of answer sheets for class 5 students.

In 2023, the Punjab Board conducted the Class 5 examination from February 27 to March 6, with practical exams from March 20 to 22. Last year’s pass percentage was 99.69 percent, and all 10 transgender students who appeared for the exam cleared it. In 2022, the pass percentage was 99.62 percent.
In 2023, girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 99.74 percent for girls and 99.65 percent for boys. Tarn Taran and Barnala districts recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.86 percent, while Mohali had the lowest pass percentage with 99.45 percent.
