Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has begun the registration process for admission to classes 1 and 2. Interested and eligible candidates can access the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to complete the admission form for the year 2024. The deadline for registering for class 1 admission is April 15, 2024, while for class 2, it is April 10, 2024.
The first selection list for class 1 will be releasing on April 19, 2024, followed by the second list on April 29, 2024. Admissions to KVS class 11 will commence only after the announcement of the class 10 board exams.

Candidates must be at least six years old to qualify for admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya class 1. KVS has introduced a new admission portal to streamline the admission process across all 1,254 Kendriya Vidyalayas.
Applicants are advised not to submit multiple applications to the same Vidyalaya for the same child. Only the last application will be considered in the admission process if multiple registration forms are submitted for the same child. In a double-shift Kendriya Vidyalaya, each shift will be treated as a separate entity for admission purposes.
Candidates can select at least three choices of Kendriya Vidyalayas while filling out the application form. Each choice of Vidyalaya will be considered independently and equally, without any preference among them.
