The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to initiate the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main 2024) session 2 today, April 4, and will continue until April 12. The examination will be held in 2 shifts – from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates participating in the exam are required to download the JEE Main admit card and self-declaration from jeemain.nta.ac.in. Subsequently, they must present the duly completed self-declaration, hall ticket, and valid photo ID upon entry to the exam hall.
The initial session of JEE Main 2024 took place from January 24 to February 1. According to the outcomes of JEE Main session 1, 23 students achieved a perfect score of 100 percentile, with a total of 11,70,048 candidates appearing in the BE, BTech paper 1 exams.

Candidates are strongly advised to meticulously review the exam guidelines provided on the admit card and strictly follow the instructions until the conclusion of the exam. The NTA JEE Main exam day guidelines are outlined below:
- Ensure the printout of the admit card and self-declaration form is with all details clearly visible.
- Submit requisite documents such as photo ID proof, additional passport-size photograph, and admit card at the exam centre.
- Complete the self-declaration form, attach a photograph, and provide fingerprints before entering the exam centre.
- Refrain from carrying any prohibited items to the exam hall, as specified in the list.
- Should difficulties arise during the exam, do not hesitate to seek immediate assistance from the exam centre authorities.
