Today, on Monday, April 1, 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is administering the Class 12 Sociology paper. The examination commenced at 10:30 a.m. and is scheduled to conclude around 1:30 p.m.
This year, a staggering total of 39 lakh students from 26 different countries are participating in these examinations. In the national capital alone, the examinations are being conducted across 877 centers, accommodating approximately 5.80 lakh students.

Students appearing for the examination have been strongly advised to arrive at their designated centers at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. It is imperative for them to carry their admit cards as it serves as a vital document for entry. Students without their admit cards will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
Furthermore, students are required to bring their own stationery as borrowing within the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Additionally, it is crucial to refrain from bringing any prohibited items into the examination hall, as doing so may lead to the cancellation of the examination.
The CBSE initiated the conduction of board exams for Classes 10 and 12 starting from February 15. While the Class 12 examinations will continue until April 2, the Class 10 exams concluded on March 13.
