The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), situated in Patna, officially proclaimed the outcomes of the Bihar Board Class 10 examinations. Students are encouraged to access their BSEB matriculation exam results via the designated official portals – https://biharboardonline.com/ https://bsebmatric.org/. This academic session witnessed a total of 16,94,781 candidates appearing for the Matric exams, comprising 8,22,587 male students and 8,72,194 female students.

There has been an observable surge in the overall pass rate, ascending from 81.04 percent in the previous year to 82.91 percent in the current academic year. It is imperative for students to achieve a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject to successfully clear the BSEB 10th grade exams.

Among the top achievers, six students hailing from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya Jamui have secured commendable positions.

This year’s results depict 4,52,302 students clinching the first division, with males comprising 2,52,846 and females 1,99,456. Similarly, the second division has been attained by 5,24,965 students, out of which 2,52,121 are boys and 2,72,844 are girls. A cumulative total of 3,80,732 students have been placed in the third division, including 1,66,093 male candidates and 2,14,639 female candidates. Additionally, there are 21,843 students who have passed the exams.

Noteworthy is the feat achieved by Shivankar Kumar, who secured the highest rank in the Bihar Board exam with a score of 489 marks. Following closely is Adarsh Kumar with 488 marks, while four students share the third rank with 486 marks: Aditya Kumar, Suman Kumar Purve, Palak Kumari, and Sajiya Perwe.

This year, over 16 lakh students sat for the BSEB Class 10 examinations. In addition to the official portals, students can also access their results through education.indianexpress.com. The board will subsequently distribute the mark sheets to the respective educational institutions.

The application portals for scrutiny and compartmental examinations will be activated from April 3 and remain open until April 9. The results for compartmental exams are scheduled to be announced by May 31, with further details regarding the examination dates to be communicated later.

In the preceding academic year, a total of 16,10,657 students (equating to 81.04 percent) successfully passed the Bihar Board matric exams, comprising 6,61,570 male students and 6,43,633 female students. The overall pass rate for Class 10 students in 2022 stood at 79.88 percent.

The Bihar Board released the Class 10 answer key on March 11 through the designated official website, allowing students to submit objections until March 14. Subsequently, the results were declared based on the finalized answer key. The matric exams were conducted from February 14 to February 23, with sessions held in both the morning and afternoon.
